Window Catches and Window Stays

Rustic Catch and Stay set – manufactured from 12mm flat bar using traditional methods, the Stay is 250mm long with 5 positioning holes and ends in a Watercourt ‘arrow’ feature’. The Rustic Catch handle is 100mm long, left or right hand fitting (handed) and also ends in a matching Watercourt ‘arrow’ feature’.

The Traditional Catch handle is 100mm long featuring a twist, left or right hand fitting (handed) and also ends in a matching ‘rats tail’ feature.

On both styles, the mounting plates have two fixing holes. Catches and Stays are supplied complete with fixing screws, locating pins and mortise plate or keep, depending on the type of window mount. Available in standard black wax finish or in clear lacquer / painted to order
P antry Hooks

Two basic designs of hook for screw in or knock in applications and available in two different sizes. Simple, stylish hooks that add the traditional finish to period doors, kitchens and boot rooms etc.  Can be supplied black waxed (standard), painted or as forged and clear lacquered. The smaller version of the screw in style makes an ideal curtain tie back hook.

T Hinges

A range of traditional, hand forged T Hinges, suitable for most widths of door. A simple style featuring a gently tapering, faceted doorplate that terminates in the Watercourt arrow shaped end. Supplied black waxed and complete with screw fixings as standard. Rosehead nails can be supplied to order. Also available to order in clear lacquer or satin painted finish.

H and HL Hinges

An alternative type of hinge covering small and larger door applications. Traditionally styled H Hinges for use on lighter duties or where there is limited space for mounting the hinges on the door itself. HL hinges for the heavier duty applications where material allows for additional support to be gained from the ‘L’ part of the hinge. Three different sizes are available as standard in black-waxed finish, complete with fixing screws.

Door Latches

 A standard Suffolk type latch hand forged from 12mm dia round bar. The overall latch length is approximately 210mm and comes complete with knock in staple and keep, together with lifter bar and all fixings. The Watercourt arrow-shaped cusps and thumb plate match those on our complimentary range of handles, cupboard latches and door hinges, all of which are an ideal accompaniment. We can supply latches complete with steel locking pin, attached with leather tie.

We can supply, on request, Suffolk latches with different shaped cusps to suit individual requirements. Please call us to discuss your needs.

Cupboard Latch

An ideal accompaniment to the smaller H, HL and butterfly hinges. Suitable for light duty, one-way internal and cupboard door applications. Comes complete with lifter bar, knock in staple, keep and all fixings. Can also be supplied with steel locking pin, attached with leather tie.

 Door Stays

A simple, but effective, means of keeping a period gate or door secure in the open position. Supplied in one standard length of 230mm (9”) with a screw in ring. Available in black satin painted finish for external use or black waxed for indoor applications. We can also supply a knock in ring as an alternative to the screw in type. Please specify requirements at the time of ordering

Pull Handles

Manufactured using traditional methods, these simple but decorative ‘D’ shaped Pull Handles with end detail in Watercourt ‘arrow’ shape as standard but can be made to suit individual tastes. Made from 10mm round bar. Available with handgrips sized at 75mm, 100mm and 150mm wide. Finished as standard with black wax and supplied complete with Black round head slotted screws.
